Student Researchers will contribute to a collaborative and interdisciplinary project devoted to reimagining eighteenth-century architectural illustrations and maps by Giovanni Piranesi that are housed in USC’s Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections. Under the guidance of project staff, student workers will produce digital pages in the open-source program Scalar following the models in the developing pages at digitalpiranesi.org. Work will primarily take place at the Center for Digital Humanities, located in the Innovation Center (IBM building) on Assembly Street.
Reporting to the Director of Library Technology Services, the Developer II functions as the Lead Programmer/Developer for existing products and systems as well as new products based on organizational needs and specifications for University Libraries. The Lead Programmer will apply system API capabilities to enhance productivity and end-user experience.
The Library Web Applications Developer will analyze, design, create, implement, modify, test, debug and maintain a wide variety of open-source, custom in-house, and vendor supplied web applications for the purposes of providing a broad range of library services, discovery, and operations technology support. This position is currently responsible for approximately 50 applications, websites and related services on library-supported servers.

They ensure software is delivered to high quality standards by collaborating with their agile team members and by leveraging various testing techniques. Test Engineers embrace the planning, design, management, execution and reporting of tests, using appropriate testing tools and techniques while conforming to agreed upon process standards and industry specific regulations.
We are in the process of getting a CompSci program up and running, and we have a need for a part-time (potentially full-time) teacher for this coming school year. Graduate students preferred.

Support clients through development of .NET applications that allow our clinics to function more efficiently, as well as provide solutions directly to patients through our next-gen platform. You will work in a Scrum environment with daily standups, code reviews, and open lines of communication within the team. You will work with Project Managers and stakeholders to produce a high-quality, scalable, testable solution by leveraging strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and Design Principles.
