CleanRate is an ESG-based early-stage startup that is revolutionizing the way consumers approach energy efficiency. Our mission is to help everyday consumers make smarter energy decisions by utilizing big data analytics. We are automating the home energy scoring space as well as implementing our tool within electricity providers to help them gauge usage as well.
About the Role:
We are seeking some highly motivated and experienced (prefer full-stack) software developers and engineers to fill the software development roles, who are passionate about sustainability and wants to be a part of a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in our development team, contributing to the design, coding, and testing of our cutting-edge software solutions. They will work closely with our senior developer and leadership team. Their responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement software solutions that align with our product roadmap.
- Assist in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring high-quality deliverables using Java, Node.js, HTML, AWS and other coding/programming languages.
- Make changes to our already existing repository
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization.
Requirements:
- Degree (or completing) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Node.js, HTML, AWS and other coding/programming languages.
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and best practices.
- Passion for learning and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
