RA Position at College of Nursing

Responsibilities

ACCESS Energy Storage Internship - for students interested in energy storage projects at Argonne. Students are paid hourly. Appointments can be part-time during academic year and full-time in summer. Undergraduate Seasonal Internship Program (SIP) - Great internship program for undergraduates looking for a first or second research experience. Application is still open for summer 2024. Students receive a stipend and can receive on-site housing at no cost to them for the term. SIP is the Argonne-funded version of the DOE SULI program - i.e. we model this program after SULI.

For Graduate Students

National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering - A 2-week summer training program for PhD students to learn about neutron and x-ray characterization techniques at Argonne and Oak Ridge National Lab. Usually 2nd or 3rd year students that would benefit from using these characterization techniques for these work will be selected. Applications open now through mid-March.

DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program - A program for students to receive a supplement award to support their research between their university PI and national lab researcher. There are two solicitation periods - the first for 2024 will begin on 2/8/2024. A competitive but great program for PhD students to work at a national lab to support their these work from 3-12 months.
