We are software engineering team with a focus on avionics.  We are responsible for navigation, performance and safety features for all  phases of flight.  One of our most recent projects was emergency AUTOLAND, a part of our AUTONOMI safety enhancing features.  Autoland will take complete control of the aircraft flight to safely land the airplane in an emergency where the pilot is unable to fly.  My team was responsible for testing of the navigation aspects of this new feature.  You can read more about AUTONOMI and AUTOLAND at https://discover.garmin.com/en-US/autonomi/

On my team, you would responsible for developing and maintaining the tools for testing of software for the navigation, performance and safety aspects of our flight management system.  We create and run automated tests using python and the test framework is developed with python and embedded C.
