Time: 6:30-8:30pm Location: Carolina Coliseum Room 1024 Bio: Karl McCollester is Director of Managed Services for VC3, Inc., a company that provides IT Consulting, Project, Managed Support, and Cloud Computing Services to businesses and local government throughout the Southeast. With 15 years of IT experience, Karl has worked with a number of companies and local governments in the capacity of IT Manager and CIO. Karl attained his Local Government CIO Certification from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005. Karl started as a PC support engineer and worked his way up through the IT ranks, to server administration, project management and IT management to his responsibilities today. His responsibilities include management and development of the Virtual CIOs at VC3, a group of professionals with previous IT Management experience who provide IT leadership for those customers who completely outsource their IT operations to VC3.
