Responsibilities that may match your students skills & experience are highlighted below: Business Systems Analysts - All Levels – Req. #965298 Please apply at www.scana.com SCANA Corporation – Business Systems Management Group The Business Systems Management organization provides support to the Customer Information System (CIS), Website, Contact Center Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Field Technology user communities to maximize the business benefits of these systems and ensure correct integration of interfacing applications including PeopleSoft Financials, Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and the Outage Management System (OMS). This position provides analytical problem solving, project management and testing quality assurance for support of systems modifications and enhancements. The qualified candidate will be responsible for achieving a detailed knowledge of selected processes within the CIS such as service orders, metering, billing, credit and collections and payment areas or detailed knowledge of other system to enable successful project leadership and production support. Other responsibilities include writing system test plans to validate the coding changes to the systems, executing system test plans and documenting any coding or design defects, and coordinating the changes into production environments. Position requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, and years of experience depends upon years of experience required for Analyst Level; The qualified candidate must have; a strong analytical ability to include organization and problem solving techniques; proficiency in presentation of information through written and verbal communications; strong facilitation skills for gathering requirements and business process design related to system change requests; coordinating issue resolutions through direct interaction with clients and information technology; ability to perform well within a team-based environment; very good project management skills for the development of project plans and leading teams through all the project life cycles.
