The position of Director Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure Support directs the University's strategic technology planning and operations in support of the University's research objectives. The position reports jointly to the Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, and to the Vice President for Research and Graduate Education. May be required to lecture and/or teach in areas of expertise Master's degree required. Must have advanced knowledge of research computing and cyberinfrastructure systems and issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent judgement and discretion in working with sensitive issues. Ability to plan, organize, and review the work of technical personnel. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with research faculty, technical staff, University executives, and external agencies and organizations.
