Designed to foster the next generation of IT leaders, the IT Development Program provides the framework to develop world-class technical skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of information technology -- from application and data development to cyber security and beyond. These on-the-job experiences are complemented with mentorship by seasoned IT associates, ongoing professional and personal training through our award-winning Capital One University, and regular networking opportunities with peers and executives. Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • Will obtain or have obtained a Bachelors degree or higher between December 2012 and August 2014
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In process of obtaining a Bachelors Degree or higher in a technical and/or quantitative discipline, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, and mathematics
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Java, .net, asp.net, PHP, Python, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts
