My name is Ali Jamil, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in technology innovation at USC. Last May, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Today, I’m thrilled to share an innovative new app my team and I are developing: Balloon Pop by Nexus—a game we’re deeply passionate about!
Many young adults are left disappointed with online dating. Between endless swiping and shallow conversations, it can feel like a never-ending cycle that leaves people discouraged. Drawing inspiration from the viral phenomenon "Pop the Balloon: Or Find Love," we’ve seen firsthand how entertaining and chaotic social interactions can be. With Balloon Pop, we’ve taken the heart of this concept and transformed it into an engaging, purposeful platform—free of viral gimmicks—that fosters intentional dating and meaningful social discovery.
