Biography:
I am a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at University of South Carolina. I am currently working at Artificial Intelligence and Systems Laboratory (AISys) as a graduate research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Pooyan Jamshidi and conducting research on developing ML models for a Space Lander of the NASA Europa mission in collaboration with the NASA Ocean Worlds autonomy testbed team, JPL, and Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to starting the Ph.D., I worked as a graduate research assistant at the Unmanned and Swarm System (USS) lab, where I developed a near real-time UAV-based multispectral sensing solution for agricultural soil monitoring. I completed my Masters in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and Bachelors in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). During my undergrad, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Access to Information (a2i) of the Prime Minister's Office of Bangladesh from 2016-2018 and developed an Automated Medical Assistant (AMA).
