Final Exam Notes
· This exam is optional and replaces a previous, lower Homework Assignment’s grade.
o If you choose not to take the exam you do not need to inform the instructor.
o If the Final Exam gets a lower score than the previous Homework Assignment’s grade, then the Final Exam grade is ignored.
o This does not replace a Lab Solution or Lab Report grade -- only a Homework Assignment’s Grade.
· This exam is a take-home, and the links to the exam questions are found on the CSCE Dropbox under the Final Exam Submission link (EXAMFINAL).
· The exam is to be completed individually.
· The exam is Open Book and Open Notes
o Lab Solutions, Lab Reports, Lectures, Lecture Examples, Lecture Slides, the Book, and Homework are all authorized materials.
o Anything used outside of this is considered unauthorized, which will result in an Academic Integrity Violation and an immediate 0 on the Final Exam’s Grade and 0 on the lowest, previous Homework Assignment’s grade.
· If there are any questions, then ONLY ask the Instructor and the TA’s via email.
o Any other communication regarding the exam with anyone else or any intelligent entity, is considered unauthorized, which will result in an Academic Integrity Violation and an immediate 0 on the Final Exam’s Grade and 0 on the lowest, previous Homework Assignment’s grade.
· This exam totals 100 points.
· There are 4 questions equally weighted 25 points.
o Each question covers at least one or more topics presented in lecture.
· 3 of the 4 Questions are Programming Solutions.
o Follow the instructions exactly.
o Do not alter any provided code or points may be deducted.
o Code does not compile, thus cannot be tested will receive 0 points. Make sure the solution at least compiles using the unaltered provided code.
o Test the code before submitting for quality.
o Submit the source codes (.JAVA file extensions) to the Final Exam (EXAMFINAL) submission link on the CSCE Dropbox before the deadline.
· The other question is a multipart, short answer, Written Assignment.
o Read each question carefully and answer each question fully in your own words.
o If a question requires drawing or diagram, then make sure to include the image(s) in the document.
o Submit the written document (.PDF, .DOC, .DOCX file extensions) to the Final Exam (EXAMFINAL) submission link on the CSCE Dropbox before the deadline.
· You will have from Wednesday 12/11/2024 at 11:55AM until Wednesday 12/11/2024 at 11:55PM to submit all answers to the CSCE Dropbox. No late work will be accepted.
· Any violations of the above points may result in points being deducted or a 0 for the exam.
