CSCE Fall 2004: Syllabus

The textbooks are:

  • Ghezzi, Carlo and Mehdi Jazayeri. Programming Language Concepts. Wiley, 1998 (required text, referred to as [G]). Supplementary materials from the authors, including an errata list, are available.
  • Ullman, Jeffrey D. Elements of ML Programming: ML97 Edition. Prentice-Hall, 1998 (required text, referred to as [U]). Supplementary materials from the author, including an errata list, are available.
  • The last day to withdraw without failure is Thursday, September 30, 2004. The last day of classes for this course is Thursday, December 2, 2004 The final exam for the course will take place on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at 2pm in the classroom (SWGR 2A27). This is the regularly scheduled time for courses taught from 1400 to 1515 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ( See the university exam schedule.)
