Project Presentation Guidelines

Prepare a short, 4 minutes demonstration on your area of study.  Your demonstration should have the following components:

 

1.                  0.5 minute: Security problem and your credentials to solve the problem – layman's terms only

2.                  1 minute: importance of the problem and the impact of the technology you are proposing – layman's terms only

3.                  2 minutes:  list 3 most challenging aspects of your proposed solutions and how you overcome these challenges – can be technical

4.                  0.5 minute: recap your contribution and emphasize your contributions– layman's terms only

 

Presentation schedule:

 

December 3rd:

 

All 10 groups will present their 4 mins. talk followed by a 3 mins q&A.  Total: 7 mins/group

Each student will rank the:

·         Slides: information content and usability

·         Oral presentation: content and clarity

·         Technical area: importance of the problem and technical feasibility of the solution

Discussion and selection of the top 3 projects: based on the ranking of the projects and in-class debate.

Award ceremony.
