Dr Vidal is looking to hire a Research Assistant to make some updates to the Wikitheoria website as part of an NSF grant jointly held with the Sociology department. The candidate must be a graduate student in the CSE department in good standing. This is a 1-year standard (20 hours/week + tuition) RA position, starting immediately. The student will be doing a lot of web design, so we will give preference to students with HCI and Web Design experience. The website is built on the Google app engine, using Python, so knowledge of both of them will also be useful. If you don't know it, be prepared to quickly learn it.
