You will want to attend Chase Gray's talk this Friday:

Silicon Valley now has more opportunities than it ever has in the past. When I was studying at South Carolina, it all seemed so far away and unreachable. I had no idea how to try to get a job at Google or a small startup. Now that I'm there I can't walk down the street or into a bar without someone trying to convince me to leave my current job to join their company. During my talk we will go over what the job market and hiring process is like at many companies in Silicon Valley. I will discuss some examples of what it is like working at Google & my current startup,

I am working on a new start-up, and we have worked out a business plan that is starting to gain some popularity. We are now attempting to get to the next level by getting a demo and/or a MVP (minimally viable product). In order to start attracting investors and gain more momentum, we are looking for an individual who be willing to do a small contract for bringing our product into visual presentation. Please see below for the skill sets we are looking for in a contract position.

iOS Developer Needed at Startup

I’m a senior here in the DMSB and my company has been developing an app and have outsourced the majority of the coding. However, we have some changes that need to be done. Basically we would like to change the layout and design of our UI. Everything else has been done already, and we have the source code. At this point we have limited cash, although we are currently seeking VC funds. In the meantime, we are willing to offer up some equity. Thank you for your time.

MetLife has 4 open positions on JobMate (also see attachments below). They are looking for December and May graduates.

We unfortunately missed the Fall recruitment event (but are planning on attending in the Spring) and are really looking to add USC December graduates to our February early in career hire program as well as May graduates to our July class. We have opened an account and posted the positions we are seeking but I am attaching the positions as well as some information on our program with hopes you can further distribute to prospective students as well as faculty so they are aware of the program. Additionally, here is the web address students can access for further information as well as to apply. We actually have several positions open in our Greenville office so the students are able to stay close to their alma mater.
