TerraStride: A Local Startup Story

The State newspaper has a story about TerraStride, a local app company made possible by our students.

The HuntStand business concept won the school’s business plan competition in 2011, taking the prize for both Best New Business Concept and Best Presentation. Shortly after, Holloway went to the computer science department at USC’s School of Engineering and recruited four computer science doctoral candidates who were interested in the concept.

iPad Developer

I have a need for a programmer who can assist us in developing apps for tablets for our clients. We have a large contract with the Department of Social Services and as part of this contract we help them conduct child welfare quality assurance reviews. The Director of the QA program at DSS asked us to check with you to see if we could hire some of your students to assist with developing software that will allow us to record answers and then compile specific parts of the answers into a “debriefing form” like an executive summary of the results.
